Windsor Johnson - Bach to the Future

Gian Piero Reverberi is a tremendous gift to the musical world. Every arrangement that I have heard of his has deepened my love for the original piece, inspired me to expand my own ideas of what’s possible and put a big smile on my face. He always remains true to the original score, adding an occasional ripping guitar solo or funky bass line that only makes you love it that much more. Exhibiting the ultimate class and taste, I am grateful every time I play his records and so far, everyone else is too. They just keep getting better every time I listen. Here he has arranged Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude. What I love so much about this one is that he has dropped the tempo down about 40 bpm to give it a sweet, funky groove. You get to know this incredible masterwork in a totally different way at this speed and with those funky drums. See you at Pamenar!
