UpFRONT Festival: Rei (on Scott Street)

Hailing from New Zealand, Rei is playing at UpFRONT as part of a Canadian tour. Rei’s live performances are an electrifying celebration of music, culture, and connection. Whether performing at WOMAD, Splore, the International Indigenous Music Summit in Toronto, or WOMEX in Europe, Rei brings infectious energy and a genre-blending sound that gets audiences moving. Incorporating live kapa haka (Māori performing arts), taonga pūoro (traditional Māori instruments), and Māori language lyrics, Rei creates a powerful concert experience that celebrates Māori culture while leaving audiences feeling uplifted and inspired.
