T.U. Jazz Fest: Japs Cunanan Quartet (Long & McQuade Stage)

The Japs Cunanan Quartet is a fusion of musical styles from different backgrounds. Each member brings their own musical heritage which creates this unique sound, almost like a dialogue between cultures. A kind of cultural harmony. Japs Cunanan is a keytar player and singer who has a Filipino background, is the artist, composer and band leader of the group. Matthew Bury is the guitar player and brings the true blue Canadian heritage to the group. AJ Harper plays the Bass is the soul of the group. He has Jamaican blood and can also dance! Arath de la Garma is the drummer and the backbone of the group. He is from Mexico, and he brings the Latin flavour to our music.
