SEXTÊTE is a retro-inspired Motown band and girlpower group. Based in Toronto, Canada, we are a queer/WOC-led band bringing you back to the 60s with our sweet and soulful arrangements of Motown, Soul, and Retro R&B classics, complete with the hot sax sound and lush vocal harmonies. A 7-piece Motown band featuring 3 singing frontwomen akin to classic girl-groups of the 60s, SEXTÊTE promises a high-calibre performance full of spirit and soul! Come sing and dance with us! Join us at the Michael Comstock Pavilion in St. James Park for a free concert. Grab a seat at the park’s tables and chairs in front of the stage, or bring a blanket and picnic / take out for the back lawn. (All performances are subject to cancellation due to poor weather conditions.
