Bob DeAngelis, the maestro behind Saxy Grooves, is set to serenade the CNE this year with his signature blend of sultry saxophone prowess and smooth jazz sounds. Renowned as Canada’s “King of Swing”, Bob is celebrated worldwide for his talent on the clarinet and leadership in the realm of jazz. With multiple JUNO Awards and the title of “Jazz Clarinetist of the Year” from the Canadian National Jazz Awards, Bob’s musical achievements span decades. In 2008, as a momentous highlight of his career, Bob led the Champagne Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. Throughout his musical journey, Bob has solidified his position as one of Canada’s premier bandleaders, steering the legacy of his own entertainment empire, DeAngelis Entertainment Inc.Swing to the smooth jazz of Saxy Grooves at CNE Wine Garden on September 2nd and 3rd from 2 pm to 5 pm.
