In his other avocation, he is a mathematics professor emeritus at the University of Toronto and has a recorded an album of math parody songs.
Peter Hill:
Peter Hill is a singer’s best friend. He is an in demand sideman on the Toronto jazz scene, playing with Alex Pangman’s Alleycats, the Laura Hubert Band, Sam Broverman, and formerly with the late Jeff Healey’s Jazz Wizards. He is the on-call pianist for most of the “”trad jazz”” groups in town, and his solid, swinging piano and his rich horn arrangements have been heard across the scene. He released his own Peter Hill Quintet CD in 2009 and they perform at Toronto’s Rex Hotel regularly.
