Rae

Rae is a Jamaican-British singer, pianist, and music creative who’s been surrounded by music her whole life. Classically trained since the age of four, she also grew up learning by ear—so while she’s grounded in technique, her sound is full of the soul and rhythm of gospel, R&B, rock, and pop. Now based in Toronto, Rae has worked with both up-and-coming and established Canadian artists, bringing a unique blend of cultures, styles, and heart to every project. At her core, Rae cares about connection—whether it’s through a live performance, an arrangement, or a simple melody—and she’s excited to keep sharing that passion at Joni Restaurant.
