Jenie Thai & Rebecca Hennessy

Jenie Thai & Rebecca Hennessy have been sharing stages for years through Toronto’s vibrant music community, performing together as part of the Massey Hall Women’s Blues Revue, various Soulpepper Theatre Company productions, and at venues across the city. Thai brings her distinctive piano playing, powerful vocals, and finely crafted songwriting, while Hennessy combines expressive singing, lyrical songwriting, and trumpet playing rooted in jazz and improvisation. Their longstanding musical connection creates a stage rapport that is warm, playful, and engaging, making every performance feel like an intimate conversation shared with the audience. Joining them for the evening is acclaimed bassist Michael Herring, whose strong musical voice will be holding down the low end throughout the night.
