JAMES IRWIN's four albums – Western Transport, Unreal, Shabbytown, and Stars Blue Wheel shift from outsider folk to low-fi 80s pop to indie rock to cosmic country, all strung together by the plainspoken beauty of the songwriting. James is a genre-curious writer who sings.
TRINITY STATION features long time musicians Amy Elizabeth (Waltz) and Shaun Weadick in a new duo best described as transatlantic mountain music. Pulling from 70’s British Revival Folk, Appalachian trad and Gospel, their songs are unique reimaginings of age-old themes. Combining densely interwoven guitars with lyrics that live in the fallout but aim for salvation, their songs are equally lulling and disturbing.
CARL SPIDLA has performed a broad range of cosmic folk, country, and blues music in Montreal and Toronto since the turn of the millennium. These days he looks forward to performing freely, if infrequently.
