Lauren Falls: A local bassist who also frequents the New York jazz scene, playing at Smalls, Dizzy’s and Bar55.
Lauren is head of bass studies at Humber College.
She has been artist in residence at the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program.
Lauren earned her Masters of Music from the Manhattan School of music.
She is a co-founder of the all female band, Free Spirits featuring the music of Mary Lou Williams and Geri Allen.
