Fern Lindzon Duo ft. Chris Parnis

Fern possesses a technique WholeNote Magazine called ‘breathtakingly beautiful’ and New Canadian Music described as ‘one of the most adventurous and accomplished vocalists, pianists, and songwriters on the T.O. jazz scene.’ Christopher Parnis is a multiple award-winning jazz bassist, bandleader, and composer from Peterborough, Ontario. He spent his childhood with musical parents, bouncing between different instruments until finally falling in love with the electric bass at the age of 13. Over the next few years he was fortunate enough to study improvisation with the formidable Canadian pianist Steve Holt and begin working as a bandleader and sideman in his hometown.
