Ehsan Sadigh (Rondo Projects)

“Septet IV/IX Originally composed for a chamber ensemble by Ehsan Sadigh, this project was initially set to premiere in Tehran, expanding from 7 to 12 musicians. Although geopolitical conflicts have temporarily paused those plans, the project is now coming to life in Toronto as a dynamic 4-stage series, where both the composition and the number of performers will progressively grow with each stage. Featuring top-tier musicians from Toronto and Montreal, this initiative is a core part of Ehsan Sadigh’s Rondo Projects (more details can be found on his official website and social media channels). Launching this journey in a trio format, this first performance features Dhaivat Jani and Chris Pruden alongside Ehsan Sadigh, and will include a featured piece composed by Chris Pruden. Septet IV/IX is scheduled to be performed in Tehran in late 2026.
