Caju Collective presents Akim Bamboo (Southern Cross)

Akim is a well-known yet mysterious figure in the Toronto music scene, plays his hand-made flutes, a heavily modified versions of Japanese Shakuhachi, across all genres in a unique style and dizzying virtuosity. “Caju Collective invites Toronto-based musicians to showcase their music and experience the group’s distinctive live recording process. Featured artists perform with the Collective’s house band (Artu, Felipe, and Dan) at Tranzac’s Southern Cross, where sets are recorded live and cut to 7″” vinyl on the Caju Collective label.
