- Graeme Jonez is a Toronto-based indie roots-rock artist and songwriter. A storyteller at heart, his Indigenous culture and vintage music influences shape his distinctive style. A member of the Sheguiandah Ojibway First Nation on Manitoulin Island, Jonez often explores themes of colonization, displacement, and assimilation through his music.
- His recent accolades include #1 and #2 songs on the Indigenous Music Countdown, as well as song placements in the award-winning film Nika & Madison and a national NHL broadcast. He is a Downie Wenjack Fund Artist Ambassador, a Verified Indigenous Performer (VIP), and an alumnus of Manitoba Music’s Indigenous Music Residency.
