Toronto bassist and composer Josh Cohen brings together a powerhouse lineup of Toronto jazz musicians for two intimate seated performances celebrating the release of We Are Home.
The Josh Cohen Quintet features JUNO Award-winning pianist and keyboardist Jeremy Ledbetter, genre-defying woodwind virtuoso Rob Christian, acclaimed jazz guitarist Lucian Gray, drummer Mateo Mancuso, and award-winning six-string bassist and composer Josh Cohen.
Written specifically with these musicians in mind, Cohen’s contemporary jazz-fusion compositions create space for their individual voices, explosive improvisation and collective chemistry. Expect intricate grooves, shifting meters, lyrical melodies and five distinctive players operating as a true ensemble.
