Join us on July 12, for an evening of boundary-crossing folk-jazz fusion, rich vocal textures, and musical discovery with singer/guitarist Andrea Kuzmich.
After 30 years immersed in Georgian and Ukrainian vocal polyphony, Andrea joins forces with the fresh sounds of Shalva-Lucas Makharashvili (bass and voice) and veteran jazzer Jamie Stager (trombone) to bring ancient polyphonic songs into conversation with groove, spontaneity, and a new sonic space. Her work has included performances with Tafelmusik, Lemon Bucket Orkestra, and Urbanvessel among others, and her voice can be heard on the soundtracks of The Witch and In the Tall Grass.
