- The York University Oscar Peterson Jazz Scholarship Ensemble is a student ensemble that brings together scholarship recipients under the direction of Professor Mike Cado. The group celebrates the legacy of Oscar Peterson, former Chancellor of York University and longtime supporter of the Department of Music, by showcasing outstanding student musicians within the jazz tradition. This year, the ensemble features Elan McMurray on vocals, Sneh Sachidananda on piano, Thales Hunter on guitar, Evita Lalonde on bass, and Alex Pazzano on drums.
- $15/tickets online. All proceeds go to the Artis/Band.
- $20/tickets at the door. $5 increase retained by Reid’s Distillery.
