Witness a new wave of French jazz luminaries in a captivating double bill. Travel the world with NoSax NoClar, a duo of globetrotting musicians who weave multicultural sounds into their smooth jazz grooves. With compositions that evoke cinematic landscapes through to smoky late-night jazz clubs, saxophonist Bastien Weeger and beatboxer/clarinetist Julien Stella take you on a sonic journey. NoSax NoClar has been described as “a series of gripping constellations of rhythms and melody, uniting and united in abundant flow and deep groove.” (All About Jazz) The Robinson Khoury – MŸA ensemble blends jazz, Middle Eastern chorus, and electronic textures. Alongside Anissa Nehari on percussion and Leo Jassef on piano, trombonist Robinson Khoury draws listeners into a world of intricate trombone lines, hypnotic vocals, genre-bending synths, and grounding percussion. Having performed with renowned ensembles such as Metropole Orkest and the Quincy Jones Orchestra, Khoury’s dynamic sound earned him the Django Reinhardt Prize in 2024, as well as multiple music award nominations.
