Erin Propp

As a Juno-nominated, WCMA-winning recording artist, Erin has established herself as a mainstay in the Manitoba music scene and is known across Canada for her authentic interpretation of melody within the jazz genre. A longtime educator in private study, a welcome guest speaker and festival adjudicator, Erin builds community and connection in all aspects of her artistic practice. Erin Propp has been known for her collaborations in an array of musical genres, including with Larry Roy, Joey Landreth, Jon Gordon, Mike Janzen, Steve Bell, Phil Keaggy, and Brian Doerksen. Known as an effortless vocal talent and for empathy-laden lyrics, Erin is a highly sought-after artist for co-writes, collaborations, and counsel. Now, Erin defies labeling with a solo show, presenting original music as a vocalist from behind the piano. Undoubtedly influenced by her recent teachers, songwriter Michelle Willis and Grammy-award winning Luciana Souza, Erin’s songs summon current sounds while hearkening back to her oldest song writing roots – the women of 1970s Laurel Canyon, and powerhouse Canadian women artists from the 1990s. An experimental exploration between jazz and folk, Erin’s new full-length solo album is being released in 2026, featuring a jazz trio, co-producer Joey Landreth (of the Bros. Landreth) and Grammy-award winning Attacca Quartet. Touring with Erin this summer is a killer crew: Fabio Ragnelli (drums), Tristan Clark (guitars), and Julian Bradford (bass).
