Carolina Lopez, Micaela Rae, Ale Nuñez Showcase

Carolina, Micaela, and Ale are fixtures of the larger Toronto music scene and go between jazz, folk, and rock circles together, joined by their unwavering friendship. While all three have their own blossoming musical projects, they will be performing their songs in the round with one backing band- a sort of collage of friends and collaborators. They'll be joined by Ben Dwyer (bass), Jesse White (guitar), Julian Psihogios (drums), Samuel Laramee (keys and sound design), as well as some special guests. Ale Avery Nuñez is a 2026 first-time Juno Nominee for Best Vocal Jazz Album. A vocalist, songwriter and bandleader rooted in jazz and soul and based in Toronto, Canada, Ale brings a musical sophistication to every performance, with a tone that is uniquely her own and a true dedication to her artistry. Ale’s debut “Under the Lemon Tree,” was recently nominated for a 2026 Juno Award - Best Vocal Jazz Album and is available on all streaming platforms. It was also one of the top 25 Jazz releases in 2025 as selected by JazzFM 91.1's Dani Elwell. Micaela Rae is a singer-songwriter based out of Toronto, ON. Writing at the intersection of folk, jazz, and poetry, Rae’s songs unfold with raw conviction - rooted in melody, and driven by lyrics that pay close attention to language, silence, and emotional nuance, as she honours the complex relationships between friends, lovers, and family. Micaela's debut EP, "Saccharine" is out now. Carolina Lopez is best known as the vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter of the ethereal folk-rock quartet Stacks. Her music mixes heartfelt, rhyme-ridden lyrics with layered finger-picked guitars and lots of interesting textures. Her debut EP, "to me, you are always beautiful" was released in 2024. The band is currently finishing their debut album set to release in 2026.
