“Kook Mama” has been performing psychedelic funky blues live all over the city at the most well known bars and street fests for about 4 years. Music lovers tell us we have a “mix tape” style. The set list is varied with unique takes on everything from old school blues and funk to things like The Beatles and Hendrix. And originals too! The band includes belting lady vocals, groovin’ electric guitar, slapping 7 string bass, banging vet musician drums and swingin’ saxophone…and sometimes even a cool keyboard.
