Returning to the CNE Midway Stage, Trash Panda Brass has been on a mission to engage crowds while spreading queer and inclusive joy with their music. In 2023, the band released their first EP, “Opposable Thumbs,” and within two years of their debut, they graced the cover of WholeNote magazine and served as guest panelists at Wilfrid Laurier and Queen’s University on queer representation in post-secondary music. To reach a broad audience, Trash Panda Brass regularly performs at community events, workshops and festivals including TD Jazz Fest. The group is known for their upbeat and fun-loving tunes that pay homage to quintessential queer hits and icons.Experience Trash Panda Brass for Jazz Music Day on Monday, August 24th, 2026, from8 pm to 11 pm at the CNE Midway Stage.
