MUNROE w/ Sam Loiselle (Sold Out)

MUNROE is the musical project of Kathleen Munroe. An award-winning actor (Patriot (Amazon), City On Fire (Apple), Law and Order: Toronto) Munroe spends her time between Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. Her eponymous first EP featured a sparse offering of "gorgeous, mlancholy" (Exclaim!) dark folk songs recorded in her hometown -- Hamilton, Ontario. Her follow-up full-length, Oblivion, saw the artist in a new form with a bigger sound and more cinematic collection of "mature, emotive, spectral songwriting...reminiscent of Vashti Bunyan" (Clash Magazine). Most recently, Munroe released a pair of singles produced in LA with Benjamin Schwab (of Drugdealer, Golden Daze, Sylvie). Her bare-boned March 5 show at the Burdock Music Hall will introduce new and unreleased songs, and marks her first performance since before the pandemic.
