Masahiro Takahashi presents Chanoyu

Chanoyu is a monthly residency bringing together music producers and seasoned improvisers, held every third Friday from 21:30 to 23:30 at the Tranzac Southern Cross. Each event features two sets — one by Masahiro Takahashi, one by an invited guest artist — with improvisers joining both, sometimes spilling into a full joint session. The series moves between electronic, experimental, jazz, dance, left-field pop and ambient. The title “”Chanoyu”” refers to the Japanese tea ceremony and its core philosophy of Ichigo Ichie — the belief that every encounter is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
