MAKUCH & Co. is a Toronto-based folk-rock project led by singer-songwriter Mark Makuch. He's joined by Dan Murphy (lead guitar), Isabel Stokes (keys and backup vocals), Eddie Polo (bass), and Charles Magalhaes (drums). New to the Toronto music scene, MAKUCH & CO. hopes to add a jolt of earnest, anthemic folk-rock that elevates the deep feelings att he heart of small human moments — songs about sneaking out on ten-speed bikes, finding four-leaf clovers in the grass, and driving down the 401 wishing for answers. MAKUCH & Co. brings melody and meaning to the realities of life: the years that slip away, the relationships that shift, the quiet struggles of holding yourself together while holding onto what matters.
