Toronto based Brazilian musician and producer João Leão brings a fresh perspective to the most iconic Brazilian genre, performing classical gems from the Bossa Nova repertoire and other Brazilian masterpieces beyond The Girl from Ipanema. With a soothing voice and smooth electric piano vibes, João presents the depth of his lifetime research on the two founding fathers of the genre, Antonio Carlos Jobim and João Gilberto.
