Jab Djab

Jab Djab comprises three core musicians: Andre Sebastien Whiteman, Ross Whiteman and Wayne Stoute. The Whiteman brothers are from Grenada, Wayne is from Trinidad and Tobago. Ross plays guitar and sings lead, Andre, bass and background vocals, Wayne, drums and background vocals. The trio got together in Brooklyn, and eventually moved to Montreal. Jab Djab’s style and temperament have matured like good rum.

The band released one album, JUMP UP AND JAM under the name Jab Jab, and a second album, SPIRIT MOVE YA with the single MASALA, in 2021.

The CD Jump Up And Jam was nominated for an ADISQ award in World Beat category in 1996
